MstSage Entertainment: State of the Site - June 2014

As I said we will be doing a monthly State of MstSage Entertainment for the Community so everyone knows where we stand. So here it is, As of right now the site is moving forward posting news trying to do multiple news articles daily it does get hard to keep up with sometimes, but we will continue. The site is moving now, no delay or very little delay compared to the high load times from before, wasn't sure what caused though but as for now they are fixed. Current Projects we are working on are as follows:

• Wiki
• Daemon Soul
• Let's Plays
• Livestreams

Those are just a few, Daemon Soul is taking low priority and it is still in the planning stage. Why is the game in planning stage and that’s all? Well it takes more than just oh I am gonna make a game and the game is done. The game will have an original story, it is based off a short story I wrote in high school. On top of that fleshing out how we want to do stats and characters, then world creation. That’s the easy part the hard part comes in making sure scripts work correctly, I would say this is going to be a long project but we hope you all enjoy when it is completed.

Now why did I skip over the wiki and jump straight to the game, mainly because the game is on back burner compared to the other items on our projects list. The Wiki is actually a top priority that has been delayed do to issues, in getting it together, guides completed in time. This is where we ask you for help, if you are interested in being a wiki editor for us, and making guides or whatever else you may have to offer drop us a comment below we will select a few people to help us get going.

Let’s plays is the next one up, we thoroughly enjoy doing them! (I myself need a bit of help not to stutter some items) but all in all we find them fun. The problem is the time involved, most of us at MstSage Entertainment can’t just devote 100% of our time to the Entertainment of other though we would sure love to. On that note we will be trying our very best in the next few weeks to start releasing new let’s plays including the eventual return of Rek’s Roll the Bones.

Finally here it comes the Livestreams have returned, with a new overlay (though again need to add a webcam feature/Skype video overlay) however we started this again on WoW this past weekend. Twitch seems to be having issues in saving the videos for highlights so you may just have to catch us live. We will be doing many different games, I have also thrown around the idea of doing a Entertainment news cast which will fall under shows/let’s plays.
